Stars on Ice Staff Writer
Here we are moments before the FINAL SHOW!! We can’t BELIEVE we’re looking back on FORTY shows and ahead to our final performance! We’re tired and sore and edgy but SO thrilled to have been a part of such a unique and special experience. Thank you to all of you who have supported us, cheered us on and joined us on our “Concert” across the ice surfaces of the US! We have been embraced by your enthusiasm and appreciation for our amazing sport and the ability of our family to entertain you with what we LOVE to do best!
From the beaches of Ft. Myers, FL to the waterfront of Portland, OR we have grown from a group of familiar faces to a family on the road. We will miss our late evening bus chats and movie nights, sharing meals in catering and exploring great cities like Boston, Austin, San Diego, Seattle and Cleveland (home of our very good friends and partners at Smucker’s). And of course we must highlight the SHOPPING! I think we could each buy stock in the local luggage dealer just to get home with all the extra STUFF!! Not only are we talented on the ice and behind the scenes but it appears we equally have an uncanny ability to shop and accessorize….nice work team, well played!
It’s hard to decide which was the best show as they each had their equal share of triple jumps, beautiful spins, intricate choreography and rockin group numbers…..I guess we would ask you, what did you love best? We always like a good review and to hear what “got you out of your seats”? Log onto our Smucker’s Stars On Ice facebook page and let us know what you thought! Mostly, we look forward to seeing you next year as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Stars On Ice!!
Now, to our 2010 Smucker’s Stars On Ice cast & crew….you’ve worked hard, skated hard and played hard….and now the time has come to just take it and go!!!!! Cheers to a fabulous tour and an amazing group of Champions….BEST OF LUCK for a fantastic final show – no shenanigans!!
