Scott Hamilton Doing Well After Surgery
Olympic Gold Medalist and Stars on Ice Founder, Scott Hamilton, underwent surgery this past Wednesday to remove a benign brain tumor. Scott is doing very well, and is expected to make a full recovery.
"He and his family are so thankful to the doctors and surgical team for taking such good care of him and grateful to everyone for their thoughts and prayers," a statement said.
Doctors discovered this tumor back in 2004. Scott underwent a successful procedure to have the tumor shrunk, but it has grown back, forcing him to have the surgery to remove it. Scott is resting comfortably with his family by his side, and is expected to return home at some point next week.
Thank you to all Stars on Ice fans for your support.
