Madison Chock & Evan Bates World Silver Medalists

Biography

Madison Chock and Evan Bates announced their partnership in July, 2011. They were previously coached by Marina Zoueva.

Chock started skating at age 5, and skated with with Greg Zuerlein from 2006-11. Together they won the 2009 World Junior, U.S. Junior and Junior Grand Prix Final titles. They were also were two-time U.S. bronze medalists as juniors in 2008, and seniors in 2011, and two-time bronze medalists in the Grand Prix Series.

Bates began skating at age 4 and competed with Emily Samuelson from 2000-10. Together, they were the 2009 U.S. silver medalists, 2010 U.S. bronze medalists and 2008 World Junior champions. They placed 11th at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
