Biography

Shawn Sawyer, born and raised in Edmundston, NB, began skating at the age of nine.  Shawn lists his greatest achievement as winning the 2002 Junior Canadian Championships and representing Canada at his first Olympics in Torino, Italy.  He was named Sport New Brunswick's Male Athlete of the Year 2002. 

Shawn is an artist on and off the ice and is working on his first art exhibition. In his spare time, Shawn loves losing and searching for his keys, wallet and cell phone. 

Shawn has enjoyed touring with Stars on Ice Canada and looks forward to his first season touring with Stars on Ice in the United States.
