Stars of the Olympics Amaze South Florida Crowd

Boca Raton, FL — April 20, 2026 — “You’re a lot louder than the crowd in Milan,” Olympic gold medalist Amber Glenn excitedly told the fans inside Amerant Bank Arena.
And that wasn’t an exaggeration. The people inside the packed arena were joyfully shouting and cheering through the night.
Not that long ago, the top skaters in the country were competing in the Winter Olympics, and now they’ve just begun a victory tour across the U.S. in the form of the Stars on Ice show.
I’ll just cut to the chase. If you have any interest in the skating you watched during the Olympics, this is a must see show. And if you’re a big fan of Alysa Liu, Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, or any of the others performing in the tour, why don’t you have your ticket yet?
I truly cannot express enough how fun of a show this is, and the vibes really shine through that these athletes are temporarily over the stress of competition and are out there having a great time. You aren’t just presented with just a normal skating show, but one where the personalities of these skaters are really able to shine.
Liu showed off her undeniable charm not long after things started, thinking that the portion when the medal-winning skaters stood on a podium and waved to the crowd went on a little too long. Her wave turned into an awkward double thumbs up as her and Glenn laughed, wondering how long they’d be standing there.
The skaters treated the crowd to a lot of variety, from versions of their Olympic short programs to moments when everyone was out on the ice. The Blade Angels (Liu, Glenn, and Isabeau Levito) even put together a fun routine to “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters.
Yes, if you’re wondering, Liu also took the opportunity to bring back her viral routine from the Milano Cortina Exhibition Gala to close the Winter Olympics. The little opening dance to “Stateside” is a treat to see in person.
And if you’re interested in ice dancing, the three pairs put on an incredible show that wowed the South Florida crowd and really showed off the passion for what they do.
This show was extra special for Andrew Torgashev, as he is a Florida native born in Coral Springs. He made sure to show off love for his South Florida roots by wearing a custom Panthers jersey with his name on it and a Stanley Cup champions t-shirt.
But Torgashev wasn’t the only Florida native who had an extra special evening. At one point, Ilia Malinin slowly skated over to one side of the rink with a single white rose, scanning the front row for a lucky recipient, until he decided to gently hand it to one extremely excited young girl. I don’t think the smile left her face for the rest of the night.
What I think is really unique about this show is how personal and intimate it feels. The walls of the arena meant for the Panthers were down, the athletes would collect some high fives from the crowd, and there didn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house.
Whether you’re a super fan or someone with even the slightest interest in figure skating, this is a show I’d definitely recommend seeing.
The Stars on Ice show will continue across the country through the end of May. The skaters performing in each show will be Alysa Liu, Madison Chock, Evan Bates, Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, Ellie Kam, Danny O’Shea, Isabeau Levito, Jason Brown, Andrew Torgashev, Christina Carreira, and Anthony Ponomarenko.
